Our Compassionate Veterinarians
Dr. Mark Caldwell
He is a third-generation veterinarian and an Arizona native. Since earning his doctorate, graduating cum laude from Kansas State University, he has been working with pet families across Arizona and nearby states.
Fields of Expertise
Dr. Caldwell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is well-versed in preventative medicine, diagnostic lab work interpretation, internal medicine and laceration repair. He can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members.
His Hobbies
Outside of work, Dr. Caldwell enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, son Henry, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 9 chickens. If you can't find him behind a grill, then he's probably out scuba diving or fishing.
Dr. Kristin Fornara
She is an Arizona native who graduated from Arizona State University. Her passion for animals and veterinary medicine led her to St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fornara spent 10 years as a small animal veterinarian and medical director of an AAHA-accredited hospital in the East Valley prior to helping found Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians.
Fields of Expertise
Dr. Fornara is fluent in preventative medicine, client education, oral health, wound repair, and diagnostic lab interpretation. She is ready to help you and your pet.

She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.
Her Hobbies
When she is not helping pets and their families, you can find her spending time with her husband, son Henry, and her multiple pets which include; 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 9 chickens. They love to travel, scuba dive, hike, and cheer on their favorite sports teams.
Our Support Staff
Heidi Boysen
Meet Heidi, the voice on the phone. Heidi is our Client Service Representative. To say Heidi enjoys helping others with their pets would be an understatement. Heidi has worked in the veterinary field since 1992 and has never looked back. She started as a veterinary assistant and then transitioned to reception where she was able to combine her passion for pets and people. Heidi’s genuine care, her outstanding customer service skills, and extensive knowledge in veterinary medicine makes her an instrumental part of our team.
In Heidi’s free time, she looks forward to creating memories with her son, Hayden, family, and friends. You can also find her enjoying nature and animals at The Phoenix Zoo or Desert Botanical Garden. Heidi is a proud zoo member since 2004 and both the zoo and garden have helped enhance her hobby of nature walks, bird watching and plant collecting. She looks forward to helping you!
Laura Dancer CVT
Meet Laura, our Certified Veterinary Technician. In 2013 Laura’s love of animals led her to pursuing a career in the veterinary field and she proudly earned her technician degree from Penn Foster. Laura’s experience and knowledge in many aspects of veterinary medicine including surgical assistance, dental health, client education, and advanced patient care makes her a valued asset to our team. Prior to earning her veterinary technician degree from Penn Foster, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre (Stage Management) from Arizona State University.
Laura’s family includes her husband, her daughter, Chloe; three dogs (Miles, Tritla and Ophelia); and two bunny rabbits (Phil and Stewart). In her free time, you can find Laura with family and friends, going on road trips, watching movies/tv, and baking. Laura is excited to meet you and your beloved 4-legged family members.
