After practicing medicine with corporate veterinary clinics for many years Dr. Caldwell and Dr Fornara knew the only way they could provide the high-quality and transparent medicine their patients deserved was to open their own clinic. The Doctors used their hospital management experience and high caseload background to meticulously design a customized veterinary experience for their patients and clients.
Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians officially started in 2022 when Dr. Caldwell and Dr. Fornara saw their first in-home appointment in Mesa, Arizona. The two-doctor clinic started with only two employees who were committed to providing a specialized experience for their clients. For the next two years, the Doctors worked tirelessly, over 80 hours a week, to continue to build their ever-growing practice. In January of 2023, the Doctors signed a lease on a vacant facility that they would convert into their hospital and surgery center. After a year of construction and custom design, Dr. Caldwell and Dr. Fornara opened their state-of-the-art hospital and surgery center to complement their mobile services. This allows them to provide more in-depth care and convenience for their patients and clients. Although they now provide both hospital and mobile services, their business name, much like their core values, has remained the same.
